29 maj 2024 · The try...catch statement is comprised of a try block and either a catch block, a finally block, or both. The code in the try block is executed first, and if it throws an exception, the code in the catch block will be executed.
No, it is not possible to have try block without catch (or finally). As a workaround, I believe you might want to define a helper function such as this: function tryIt(fn, ...args) { try { return fn(...args); } catch {} } and use it like: tryIt(function1, /* args if any */); tryIt(function2, /* args if any */);
Use the finally clause in the try...catch...finally statement to execute a block whether exceptions occur or not. The try...catch...finally statement ignores the return statement in the try and catch blocks because the finally block always executes.
