I recently just tried to buy shoes off of a site that I didn’t realized was sketch. The website “shoesbus.us”, took me through a PayPal link, entered email and password. Saw that my charge was going to an odd merchant’s email. Researched the site turned out to be a scam site.

I have been scammed a couple of times through these Chinese businesses and the only way to get your money back is through your bank. Misleading and false advertising. If the product ever arrives it is never as described on the ad.

It seems barefoot shoes are lucrative enough for scammers to attempt to steal people's money. Their websites look very convincing. I've never been scammed but the comments sections in this subreddit show that other people have been unfortunately duped.
