  4. I've got a 2021 Trek Marlin 6 and the left pedal (crank?) arm threads have worn off, leaving my pedal to fall off. I cant seem to find a replacement arm in the UK. Would it be better to upgrade the bottom bracket and crank arms without spending £hundreds? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. If the bike is square taper there are many, many cheap no-name cranks that will work. They'll be a bit heavier than fancy ones, but 100 grams isn't likely to matter. A lot of Cross Checks shipped with cheap Andel square taper cranks and they hold up great.

  6. 9 lut 2023 · These cranks have a 170mm arm length with an 8-bolt chainring mounting interface which will be on the production cranks. The Trail/Enduro cranks have the more common 3-bolt interface. At the moment, I am using a Wolf Tooth Powertrac Elliptical 38t chainring with it.

  7. 24 maj 2020 · My crank arms are starting to clunk and shift from side to side when I’m pedaling hard. I assume it’s the BB going. Is there a good upgrade option for this? BSA threaded square taper, I believe. Shimano BB-UN55 73 x 122mm or 123mm will work. The basic UN55 BBs are hard to improve upon as far as currently available square tapers go.
