Tree House has the largest cageless, no-kill shelter for sick, injured and abused cats in the Chicagoland area. In 2005, Tree House rescued and admitted nearly 600 cats, and found homes for nearly 500 “residents.”
Tree House is Chicago’s oldest cage-free cat shelter, founded in 1971. We are now housed in an eco-friendly shelter where our cats have access to sunlight and fresh air. We provide Community Cats services, low-cost spay and neuter, and assistance with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).
