Experience the fun and history of railroading at Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum in Griffith Park. Founded in 1956 by a group of train enthusiasts, we educate the public in railroad history and show live steam, gas-mechanical and electric railroad technology in actual operation.
Daily Operating Hours. *We close 45 minutes for lunch, Mon to Fri. Spring & Summer hours. 10am – 4:30pm. Fall & Winter hours. 10am – 4pm. *We close for lunch on weekdays sometime between 12:30pm-1:00pm, based on crowd size. We remain closed for lunch for 45 minutes.
