26 lis 2024 · The Hostetter family recently sold Trail-Way Speedway and its adjacent property to John Rapasky, of Circle Oak Farm. There is no word of Rapasky looking to continue operation of the dirt oval in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Motorcycle racer and sprint car team owner Armin Hostetter built the track on his 250-acre corn and soybean farm in 1972.

HANOVER, Pa. – Trail-Way Speedway is expected to cease operations after 49 years of dirt-track racing. Owners Barry, Brad and Perry Hostetter confirmed the sale of the one-third-mile clay oval and 232-acre property to Circle Oak Farm in nearby Hanover in a social media post on Monday.

28 gru 2021 · Armin Hostetter’s project opened at a horse track and later made the transition to auto racing. The facility is now home to a 1/3-mile dirt track. However, that’s soon to change as the facility has been sold.
4 lis 2021 · Next year is supposed to be Trail-Way Speedway’s 50 th season, but the future is now uncertain. The Hostetter brothers indicated this week that the time has come to put the racetrack and the surrounding acreage up for sale and move into retirement.
