16 paź 2024 · M-119 starts just north of Petoskey, but it officially becomes the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Byway after you pass Harbor Springs. At that point, the road narrows and runs for 20 miles along a stunning bluff, offering incredible views of Lake Michigan and making it one of Northern Michigan’s most scenic drives.
Starting just north of Petoskey, Michigan, the M-119 passes through the charming town of Harbor Springs before becoming what we refer to as the “Tunnel of Trees” as it winds toward Cross Village. It’s not a long stretch of road, just 20 miles or so, but you’ll never forget your first drive or ride down the Tunnel of Trees…
At the south, end east of Petoskey, M119 goes north off US31 to Harbor Springs. Then go to the end of downtown one block past Spring Street, M119 turned right, up a hill and winds it’s way past beautiful homes, golf courses and panoramic views of Lake Michigan all the way to Cross Village.
