Rusty Saves the Day is the twenty-fifth episode of the sixth series. Rusty takes up so much time clearing up Rheneas and Skarloey's passenger line that the little diesel forgets that there's also work at the quarry that is supposed to be done.

Sir Topham Hatt shuts down Rheneas and Skarloey's railway line and reassigns them to the quarry. However, with the quarry scheduled for blasting over the next two weeks, Rusty takes the initiative to assist Elizabeth in repairing the line during this downtime. Why This Episode Didn't Save The Day
18 paź 2002 · The next day, the Fat Controller announces that there will be blasting in the quarry for the next two weeks and that he will have to find the engines' other work until then. Rusty asks if they can use that time to mend Skarloey and Rheneas' line.
11 paź 2002 · The Fat Controller closed down Skarloey and Rheneas line and they both work at the quarry. But one, there is to be a blasting for two weeks at the quarry and so Rusty and the two old engines decided to restore the old line.
