12 wrz 2024 · The Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement (VSA) is offered by Toyota Motor Insurance Services. Despite the name using the word 'service,' this is an automotive warranty program which covers unexpected repairs, not routine maintenance or regular wear and tear items.

Both are scams. Dealership wouldn't offer prepaid maintenance if it cost them money. You already have 2 years/20k miles of free prepaid maintenance, so your essentially paying $1,500 for the last 3 years/55k miles. 2 oil changes and tire rotations a year at $250 each, for 3 years would be $1,500.
1 paź 2023 · Dealer offering the Toyota Extra Care Platinum VSA (uploaded) for $1,500 claiming the full price is $2,500. This is the 6Y/100K VSA. Waiting to see the full Agreement for complete details but there is an yet to be specified "deductible" and "Covered components are subject to change." I've seen other posts here reporting a 10Y/100K VSA...
Extended warranties are a scam. I always ask the dealer if they’re trying to sell me a bad car and they don’t believe in Toyotas quality, if I need all these extended warranties, that usually shuts them up.
