A Bulk Up set can make Toxicroak very tough to take down, given investment in HP; it also dramatically increases Toxicroak's HP recovery through Drain Punch, particularly when combined with Dry Skin and Leftovers.
Toxicroak isn't a bad attacker, but when face-to-face with the stronger options in any niche that it can occupy, Toxicroak croaks. Counter and Dynamic Punch make Toxicroak a decent Fighting attacker. Pair Poison Jab with Sludge Bomb for great Poison-type DPS.

I consider DP more of a 'surprise motherf*cker' move than something you can rely on. It packs a punch no matter whicn Pokémon has it. But takes forever to charge and usually the Pokémon that have it are fragile as hell.
