The Overlord is guaranteed to spawn at Wave 48 in Expert Mode, with the Enemy Randomizer attribute, replacing The Corrupted. After the Ode of Autumn update, this is more unlikely to happen. After the Cold Construct 2022 update, this now happens at Wave 38.

Enemies are hostile entities that everyone will encounter within the game. They move along the path of each map, trying to reach the players' base until the base health reaches 0. They have a set amount of health that towers can reduce until it reaches zero, whereby the enemy is promptly killed.
