  1. Not sure if it helps, but I just fixed my issue with the fatal graphics error by changing the Windows 11 Memory Integrity to disabled in Windows 11. Do a search for memory integrity and you should find a menu item for "Core Isolation" under windows security.

Solution: Find Medieval II: Total War in your Steam folder; for most people this will be under the directory of: Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> SteamApps -> Common -> Medieval II Total War.

  4. It seems that there is a fix for Windows 10 which was to run it on compatibility with Windows 7, but that option doesn't seem to work. I double checked to see if MTW2 was installed correctly, outside of program files, and made sure the mod was correct too.

  5. 5 sie 2022 · First problem. I found out a long time a ago when I install this SS6.4 mod on steam version of medieval 2, there are a lot more crashes entering the battle, so I play all my games on the original CD version of the TWM2 which has much less crashes.

  6. 14 kwi 2023 · So I got a Windows 11 laptop and am now experiencing a guaranteed CTD 30-45 minutes into each playthrough, just like Pooploop. Absolutely nothing had helped - LAA, Compatibility Mode, admin settings, etc. So it must be an issue with Windows 11 itself. Players will have to either downgrade to Windows 10 or deal with nonstop CTDs
