Recommendations for Torx socket sets? Been looking for a while now, but haven’t settled on anything yet. I’m open to anything but I’d prefer to stay under $100 for the kit unless it’s just a super awesome set. I have a nice set from gear wrench.
FWIW, the large black 1/2" drive impact Torx (and hex) sets from Harbor Freight are outstanding, as long as you have the space to use them. The Torx set is T30-T70. https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-impact-star-bit-socket-set-8-pc-67896.html. I use a mostly matco set. I've broken two of them in 15 years.

10 mar 2024 · Socket Sets. These Torx drivers will attach to standard socket wrenches, allowing you to get maximum torque for the most stubborn of fasteners. These are particularly great when you’re working on cars or other large machinery. You can even attach an extension to get extra reach when you need it.
Costco has a set for $100 or less. Assuming you're in the US you will need metric and standard (imperial). A full set in 1/4” and 3/8” should work for most of what you need. You may need a 1/2” set as well depending on what you do.
