I’m looking for a good online therapy service. I’ve tried talkspace 5 years ago but only with text service, not sure how I liked it as I’ve never had in person therapy before. That was my only therapy experience. What service do you guys recommend? Have you tried betterhelp or reflect? Or what else is good?
So you don't have to use a platform that's specific to online therapy (and yes, a lot of them suck); you can look for them on general therapy directories and see who offers therapy over video chat or phone, or do a search for therapists that work with your issues or practice a type of therapy you're interested in.
If you're looking for a therapist, I recommend checking out a site called TherapyDen. That's where I found my therapist at. You can search through their bios to get a sense of who they are and if they will work for you. And you can filter specifically for online sessions. Good luck with your search.
