If you watch the Brothers Quay (guessing you haven't seen much) you will see a couple of blatantly obvious situations where Tool/Adam just plain copied them from prison Sex and Sober. Reply reply
It’s so hypocritical of Kurt to blast Adam for the videos. The thing that bothered me so much about Kurt’s comments was that when I first heard undertow as a junior in high school in 1993, it sounded as different and revolutionary to me as nirvana and Pearl Jam did two years earlier. They were that great.
It has nothing to do with what he said about the Sober video, and for all I know, he's right that Tool infringed someone's IP. Nirvana just gets under my skin in comparison to Tool. Danny and Maynard have more talent in their nail clippings than Cobain would in 10 lifetimes.
"Sober" is a song by American rock band Tool. The song was released as the first single from their debut studio album, Undertow. Tool guitarist Adam Jones has stated in an interview that the song is about a friend of the band whose artistic expression only comes out when he is under the influence.
