Each day, you’ll read one New Testament chapter and one Old Testament chapter. This means that you’ll read the entire New Testament (some books twice) this year, and every three years, you’ll read each Old Testament book. The 2024 reading plan is based around Genesis.
We have added dates next to each of the readings to help you keep track of where you are in the plan, which ends on December 23, 2024, giving you a few days to rest or catch up on anything you may have missed. Each day features a Psalm for you to meditate on through quiet reflection and prayer.

This special Bible reading system allows you to read the entire Bible (or just the New Testament) in one year while only reading five times a week. Five readings a week gives room to catch up or take a day off to focus on other Bible reading or spiritual disciplines, and makes daily Bible reading practical and do-able.
