Back in the day (pre-COVID), I used to go to the box office the day of a concert and wait all day for them to release extra tickets. I was successful at getting face value tickets to all but one show when I got there too late. Has anyone had success doing something similar for the Eras Tour?
There Are Two TKTS ticket Booths In New York City. Now Located in Times Square and at the Lincoln Center. The booths offer on-the-day discount tickets to Broadway shows and are run by the TDF (Theatre Development Fund)
You can't buy tickets to show via the TKTS app, and you can't see what their inventory is, but you can see in real time if they still have ANY seats for the show, because if they don't, it won't show up in the app as available.
Ask for rush tickets. Some shows sell rush tickets online, while others you have to go in person to the box office. As an example, Some Like It Hot has $40 rush tickets. I went in-person the morning before a matinee, and got two tickets right in the front row.
