Extract the downloaded Updater with Winrar or 7.zip. Click on Sims-4-updater-vxx.xx inside the folder (Where xx.xx represents a version number) Click on Browse and select your The Sims 4 Installation Folder (don’t open it) Click on Update, this will also repair your game.
The Sims 4 can be downloaded in 6 different ways: Official via Origin (base game available for free , see this page) via the all-in-one method also for 64 bits Windows only. My favourite method (Anadius Updater) because it’s not a torrent, nor a direct download and extremely simple.
