17 mar 2023 · There are quite a few threads on the topic of the game not starting on either Windows 10 or Windows 11. You can scroll back thru a handful of pages on this forum to find just a small batch of them, but I'll give you some of the most recent ones to start with.
Mods have always worked and now that I have a new gaming pc that can handle the game smoothly, I installed the Sims 3 on my new computer with Windows 11. Now, script mods will NOT work. CC and sims3packs show up in game, but cript mods are not registering at all, even the nointro mod.

Can anyone give tips on optimizing playing Sims 3 with lots of mods on a windows 10/11 machine. (It will come installed with win 10 but free upgrade to 11). Do those of you who play with lots of mods and CC change any game files to optimize play on your machines?
I have an Acer Aspire 3 with windows 11. Ive had some issues with the sims 3 and this computer, as i had to enter code into powershell for me even to be able to get the game to run. Right now, i cannot install store content.
