10 lis 2017 · As an update:slowly one by one all new updates are suffering the same issues. Steam in the past 5 or so hours has downloaded 86kbs for like 2 seconds. I will try reinstalling steam in the morning. My ISP is not the issue and my firewall has no effect on steam.

Retail versions of the game require patching and installing expansion packs/stuff packs in the correct order which can be found here. The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin is already updated to the last patch. Although the game's patch site has now gone down, many patches are available from here or here. 23 mar 2024 · Download The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (If this is not allowed then please delete post.) I have not tried the link for Sims 2 but the Sims 1 link works and I have Sims 1 running on my Windows 11 machine without any problems so far.
