The Maverick Theater is a volunteer theater founded in 2002 by Artistic Director Brian Newell, Heidi Newell and Jim Book . The venue has two stages, a cabaret stage and a black box stage. The Maverick opened at it’s permanent Fullerton location on June 23rd, 2005 with The Rocky Horror Show.

There is FINALLY true theater in Fullerton. With lots of innovative set design using rear screen projection and a multi-level set, a great sound system, plus a bar - this place rocks! The performances are great too! Spot on ensemble that love what they do and show it in their performances.
