6 sie 2021 · Terrifying, Nail biting, and Fast-paced, this story opens when THREE gunshots are heard from the home of John and Katherine West, where they live with their 5 year old twins, George and Sophie-a family of FOUR. Has someone broken into the home? Or could this be another inexplainable murder-suicide?!
8 sie 2022 · review: If you loved Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica, you will love The Family Across the Street by Nicole Trope. This is not to say that both authors have identical writing styles, but the general vibe of these stories is similar.
3 sie 2021 · Everybody wants to live on Hogarth Street, the pretty, tree-lined avenue with its white houses. The new family, The Wests, are a perfect fit. Katherine and Josh seem so in love and their gorgeous five-year-old twins race screeching around their beautiful emerald-green lawn. But soon people start to notice: why don’t they join backyard barbecues?
There are a few triggers throughout the novel but in my opinion, nothing super insane. Highly recommend! I can provide spoiler reviews for my book reviews as well if anybody prefers. I bought this book for my sister and she RAVED about it. I’m just now getting around to it as the semester is finally over. Listening to it now 🙂.
7 mar 2022 · My Review: The Family Across The Street is a gripping standalone thriller by Nicole Trope and one that I found difficult to put down once I’d started it. Set in Sydney, Australia on one of the hottest days of the year, the story begins with a bang (literally) as gunshots are heard from one of the quiet residential houses.
14 wrz 2022 · Nicole Trope’s The Family Across the Street is not a bad thriller, really, but Trope stretches out the plot to a glazed-eye degree. The premise is a family being held hostage by the father, who is enraged his wife wants to leave him.
10 sie 2021 · The Family Across The Street is a thoroughly entertaining and tense novel about families and human instincts. I have previously reviewed Bring Him Home, The Girl Who Never Came Home, The Life She Left Behind, The Nowhere Girl, The Boy in the Photo, and My Daughter’s Secret by Nicole Trope.
