8 mar 2010 · Just how much does the amount of high quality metallic paint cost for painting an entire miata? Your also going to have to add in the primer, clear coat, sand paper, masking tape, plastic tarps, etc. for the cost.
10 sie 2012 · The answer will have too many variables for an internet stranger to answer. It will depend on the prices at your local paint and body shops. It will depend on how much body work, paint prep, trim removal, finish detailing you want to pay for. Lance has answered it best so I will add his reply below.
What would be a reasonable price range for repainting a Miata? The car is a 1995, the color is white, there is no rust. The front edge of the driver door looks like something might've gotten in the crack when the door was closed, and slightly damaged. All the body panels and gaps otherwise good.

Yeah this is a place for Miata enthusiasts, not body/paint professionals, so your best bet is to call paint and body places and be prepared for them to drill you with far more questions and comments than I have, and also be prepared to hear a number over $4000.
23 sty 2012 · So I figured rather than buying a car that after a long life will have a fair few defects, why not pick up a bargain car and then spend the extra on a full spray, ending up with a perfect finish for a similar total outlay? ^^ for this to work out I need an idea of costs though...
