29 cze 2004 · The use of the term brother (adelphon) denotes Epaphroditus’s relationship to Paul in the Lord. Paul regarded all Christians as brothers and sisters in the Lord because of the special fatherhood of God through Christ.
Just look at the way Tychicus is described by Paul. He is (verse 7) ‘a beloved brother’, or one for whom Paul had very great affection. His character, lifestyle and love for Christ, drew out the strong affection of Paul.
