27 maj 2024 · A series of deadly skirmishes between local and Ohio militiamen against Native tribes across what is now known as Marblehead Peninsula constitutes the first battle in Ohio during the War of 1812. These altercations led to 8 local settlers/militiamen losing their lives and 30 to 40 Indian fatalities.
