In Thailand, the climate is tropical, with greater temperature variations in the centre-north, and rains due to the monsoons. Typically, there are three distinct seasons. Winter, from November to February, is a dry and relatively cool season, in which the northeast monsoon prevails, coming from the Asian continent.
