Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) is a free two-hour video about the consequences of distracted driving. It is designed for drivers who completed a teen driver education course or a parent-taught driver education course.
Included in this program is the GDL Made Simple video which serves as a reminder of the crash risk for teen drivers and Texas’ passenger and other novice driver restrictions.
The Impact Texas Teen Drivers program (ITTD) is a two-hour video course designed to further prepare teens to be safe drivers. The course is broken into eight (8) 15-minute videos that you can watch separately.
27 sie 2015 · AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety today announced the implementation of the Impact Texas Teen Driver program (ITTD), which is a new requirement for driver license applicants who complete a teen driver education course. The two-hour ITTD program contains several videos that provide awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.
Impact Teen Drivers’ materials meet Common Core and National Health Education Standards, as well as Texas Standards for Health Education. From lesson plans to classroom posters, you can make a positive difference in the lives of your students as they navigate being drivers and passengers.
