31 sie 2017 · Telescope Calculator Inputs: Scope Aperture: The diameter of a telescope’s main lens or mirror — and the scope’s most important attribute. Scope Focal Ratio (f/number): A lens or mirror’s focal length divided by its aperture. For instance, a telescope with an 80-mm-wide lens and a 400-mm focal length has a focal ratio of f/5.
Afocal Projection. Barlow Projection. Maximum Exposure Length for Planetary Rotation. Calculator Instructions. Calculators already have sample data in them. Some are examples from my telescope, a C11 SCT with 279.4 mm of aperture and 2,794 mm focal length at f/10.
Please select one of 458 telescopes from the drop-down box, or use Manual mode to enter the aperture and focal length by hand.
31 maj 2024 · Use this telescope magnification calculator to estimate the magnification, resolution, brightness, and other properties of the images taken by your scope.
You don't need to use the calculation feature - just scroll down the output table to find the formula you need. All variables used are always defined in rows nearer the top of the table. If you have measured a Sagitta (depth of Curve) and want to calculate Focal Length, use our Sagitta to Focal Length Calculator .
