8 paź 2013 · The 8v rotates clockwise, and #1 would normally be at 11:00. The 16v rotates counterclockwise, and #1 would normally be at 1:00, depending on info as per Aqua's post, making sure that you are at #1 cylinder firing.

For all engines covered by this manual, the firing order is 1-3-4-2. Cylinder no. 1 is on the passenger side, closest to the camshaft drive belt. To find the no. 1 terminal on the distributor cap, remove the cap and find the no. 1 cylinder TDC mark on the edge of the distributor housing.
22 paź 2022 · Double check the wiring connections. Put the engine on TDC, and verify that the distributor is correctly installed!
