Developed in the mid-1980s by Swedish designer George Kellgren, the TEC-9 was initially intended as an affordable and effective open-bolt submachine gun for military use.
10 wrz 2020 · The M11/9 (MAC 11) is a much more reliable handgun. The TEC9 can’t chew through 5 rounds without a misfire or jam. The MAC 11 isn’t superbly reliable, but it can make it through an entire magazine more often than not.
This pistol had minimal failures. Everything that happened was cleared by shaking cartridges out while holding the bolt open before getting back to work. FTEs if memory serves often the case was trapped in there with the next stripped live round.
TEC-9. The Intratec TEC-9, TEC-DC9, KG-99, and AB-10 are a line of blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols. They were developed by Intratec, an American subsidiary of the Swedish firearms manufacturer Interdynamic AB. Introduced in 1984, the TEC-9 is made of inexpensive molded polymers and a mixture of stamped and milled steel parts.
July 1, 2014. — Tec9: Increased standing, crouching, and moving Accurate Range. So this was the beginning of Operation Breakout, where they made all those changes to like 10 different guns. On this day, they actually screwed up, and accidentally made the Tec9 super OP.
5 kwi 2024 · While the TEC-9 looks intimidating with its large size and distinct shroud, it’s still just a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. It’s functionally no different than any other 9mm pistol. If anything, it’s worse than standard 9mm handguns.
