The Accelerator is a hardcore tower that attacks in delayed bursts. It has a charge-up that happens before the burst and a cooldown that happens after the burst. During the burst, it can deal massive amounts of damage in a short period of time, but does no damage in between bursts.

accelerator can also shred swarms of enemies just fine. the engineer splash is very little compared to the normal damage. accelerator is always better, and is always the better option.
I have seen some videos of people saying that the accel might not be worth it as in WikiaColors video, he says that both the accelerator has been both buffed and nerfed. There has been a upgrade price upgrade in the last level which has been increased from 25k to 30k.
11 paź 2024 · Accelerator's DPS is very high at 286.26 and 416.67 without charging , but with charging the DPS also exceeds that of the Engineer with the Commander's buff. In addition, the 286.26 DPS is weakened in the first second due to charging, so it becomes 416.67 from then on.
