I've already made a few upgrades, such as installing a better headlight, upgrading the brake pads, and adding a headlight switch and phone mount. One piece of advice I have is to be cautious of other stores on Alibaba offering super low prices.
Otherwise the MX4 is amazing and needs very little upgrades in terms of power. When you (inevitably) need more power, get yourself a Torp TC1000 and TM25 controller/motor combo, and a high capacity 72v battery for added range and performance.
30 kwi 2023 · Upgrades. Both “stock” bikes use 60V, but the Talaria has a higher-capacity battery at 45-Ah, compared to the Sur-Ron’s 34-Ah. And, as long as we’re on the subject of batteries, for those customers with a fat wallet, owners have reported that the most dynamic power upgrade was converting to a 72V battery and controller.
3 wrz 2024 · Range Compared Between Talaria MX5, MX4 and Surron LBX. This is to address some of the range concerns some people have been having on the Talaria MX5. -The mx5 has a 72v 40ah 2880 watt hour battery. -the mx4 has a 60v 45ah battery with 2700 watt hours.
So im thinking about getting the mx4 but I've heard it's really good to get a handlebar lift kit and some brake pads. Anyone know the best place to get em? Fastest. Most reliable.
