This is to address some of the range concerns some people have been having on the Talaria MX5. -The mx5 has a 72v 40ah 2880 watt hour battery. -the mx4 has a 60v 45ah battery with 2700 watt hours. -surron lbx has a 60v 40ah 2400 watt hour battery. -the eride pro ss has a 72v40 2880 watt hour battery (same as the mx5)
I’ve had my Talaria Sting R MX4 for a couple of weeks now and wanted to share a review for those interested in buying one and for those wondering what the purchasing experience from Alibaba is like.
Mx4 is obviously better as it has improved battery and controller and I believe motor may be better etc. But mx3 is still very good as well. Depends on how much you want to spend.

If you did end up wanting more power aftermarket controllers to start would still keep you under the SS (especially when you factor the resale of the stock controller). Nucular's controller can get the mx4 to peak at 12.5kw so the same as the SS but it does have throttle cutouts at that power.

2 kwi 2023 · The Sting R MX4 now boasts 8kW of peak power, which is a significant jump from the MX3’s 6kW. The motor has also been updated to a more durable IPM motor. Additionally, the 60v battery now has a capacity of 45Ah, which is 7 Amp hours more than the MX3.
