Tal set is great for hybrids. frozen orb and fire ball/hydra. Blizzard until you get Infinity. I like it on firesorc with Phoenix shield. Phoenix is pretty expensive though. Mostly looking to do casual meph and cow runs in hell. As a full tal + infinity merc sorc in SP. Lightning you run with 2x fcr rings + spirit Monarch and WT.

Tals set is a generalist set, ok on offense and defense, pretty good on MF, and works fine for a lot of builds. but for specific sorc builds there are way better gear. cold sorc has nightwing and fathom. Lightning sorc has griffon, crescent moon and self wielding infinity.
I've seen so far that crafting and Spirit runes like Nef, Tal, Ral, Ort, Thul, Amn, Sol, and Hel are worth keeping in bulk. When should one stop cubing up mid runes? El = trash. Eld = trash. Tir = insight sets, not useful past a certain point but keep a few for this or cheeky MPK low lvl setups. Nef = uncommon crafts. Eth = trash.
13 lis 2021 · Wsk (1-3 and throne/baal) is actually probably the best place in the game to farm because it can have great density, simple maps, and its all level 85, plus you get baal at the end. The levels with flayers (little act3 dart shooting guys) are easy and amazing density and drops.
