4 lut 2000 · We have analysed newly calibrated IUE and ROSAT data for three T Tauri stars from different subclasses: TW Hya, V410 Tau and CS Cha, a Classical T Tauri star (CTTS), a Weak T Tauri...
In the present work, we examine the list of 63 candidate T Tauri star (TTS) in the TAMC identified by their ultraviolet (UV) and IR colours measured from data obtained by the Galaxy Evolution Explorer all sky survey (GALEX-AIS) and the Two Microns
T Tauri stars were first identified as an interesting pre-main sequence class of objects because of their unusual spectral and photometric properties (Joy, 1945, Herbig, 1962). Classical T Tauri stars are possess strong emission lines (hereafter CTTS) (stars with equivalent widths W(Hα)≥10Å) and are now recognized as pre-main

Classical T Tauri stars (CTTSs) are pre-main sequence, low-mass stars (M 2 M ) that are still accreting matter from a surrounding circumstellar disk at a significant level. CTTSs show an emission line spectrum and are often characterized by strong veiling and a large Hα equivalent width, formerly the main classifier of this class.
In this paper, we developed new criteria to identify T-Tauri stars (TTS) candidates using UV and optical CMDs by combining the GALEX and Gaia surveys. We found 19 TTS candidates and 5 of them are newly identified TTS in the Taurus Molecular Cloud (TMC), not catalogued before as TMC members.
