The Sweden Democrats became the second largest party in the parlament and we, together with three other partys managed to remove the Social democratic government and install a new government based on the Tidö Agreement. Through that agreement the Sweden Democrats have more influence than ever before.

This contrasted with the international image of Sweden as a progressive county yet resonated with the country’s growing ideological use by foreign far-right actors.

Eight political parties are represented in the Riksdag during the 2022–2026 electoral period. There are currently two members of the Riksdag without party designation. The members have left their parties since the 2022 elections.
