Suzuki’s new DF 115 (and its sister motor, the DF 90) are the first outboards in the industry to use an offset driveshaft combined with a two-stage cam which reduces the motor’s physical size yet increases overall performance. The DF 115 idles at a low 620 rpm and a larger silencer and stiffer crankcase and crankshaft reduce operating noise.
