It uses the older distributor driven off the intake camshaft, and produces approximately 75–101 hp (56–75 kW; 76–102 PS) at 6500 rpm / 109–112 N⋅m (80–83 lb⋅ft) at 5000 rpm. Redline is set at 7400–7600 rpm.

22 sty 2014 · I need to rebuild the extra engine in my garage and I am curious on how hard it it to do, and how hard it is to pull the engine and replace with new one. I do not have a cherry picker or anything like that.
The engine is a water-cooled, in line 4 cylinders, 4 stroke cycle gasoline unit equipped with its S.O.H.C. (Single Overhead Camshaft) valve mechanism arranged for “V”-type valve configuration and 16 valves (IN 2 and EX 2/one cylinder).
The 1.3-liter 8-valve Suzuki G13BA engine was produced in Japan from 1988 to 2001 and was installed in the second generation of the compact Swift model and its many clones. Another such unit can be found under the hood of the popular SUV Jimny or Samurai.
