Question: Can I use an external graphics card on my Surface Pro 7? So I have been wanting to improve my VRAM, because right now, it is at 128MB (refer to picture below). I am fully aware that the Surface Pro 7 has only a USB-C port, and not a thunderbolt 3 port (which is required for EGPUs).
Just make sure to use the registry key hacks shown above - and update all the firmware to the latest. Not sure about SP7 though. I have an SP8 and it is reasonably stable.

I own a Surface Pro 7+ tablet and I want to resolder RAM from 8gb to 16+. Current chips are Micron MT53E512M32D2NP-046 (datasheet for 512M32 is below specs) All 4 ram pads on the motherboard are already soldered, so just adding new chips is not an option, they have to be replaced.
