I’ll start off with mine. I say the Seasons 4-6 style is the best. It still had the charm, flow, and feel of the previous seasons, but with some improvements and minor, fitting CGI (notice in the picture that the car is still hand drawn, but the background is CGI).
The scripts are totally the opposite of the old style and if you pay attention, Sett just stopped writing in 2005, the best staff writers and writers left in 2012-2014, and the new ones are pretty young which makes your comment absolutely controversial.
One thing perfect about the Family Guy style and I guess American dad style both shows look kinda similar. Round half-closed eyes= Seth MacFarlane. If you draw a character from another show or a celebrity with half-closed round eyes you know instantly "Oh it's the parody version".
