I’m not reading reviews on BBB in order to make decisions. I simply use BBB for dispute resolution. Sure, there are more “nuclear” options, but why would I start there versus a simple and effective BBB complaint? I’ve left plenty of Google reviews and the only outcome that has yielded is a defensive response from the business.
Your situation is only slightly normal - I know a lot of people whose BBB complaints went ignored - and your strategy increasingly is not going to work. BBB ratings hold no weight, especially with the newer generation who is used to using better-designed, more transparent resources (like yelp).
I filed a complaint to BBB, a manager contacted me, offered me a newer model laptop with win 8 (the one I ordered was win 7) and a next day shipping for the same price I paid for the one that was in sale.

Wybór studiów. Hej, złożyłem aplikację na SGH (docelowo metody ilościowe) i UEP (informatyka i ekonometria). Dostanę się bez problemu i tu i tu. Chcę studiować niestacjonarnie w weekendy. Mieszkam w Poznaniu, UEP nie jest tragiczny, więc wydaje się ciekawą opcją.
