Apply online from the Office of Admission's website. Please be sure to check your corresponding program's individual site for specific requirements as well. When completing your application, you will need to identify the following information: MSU College ; Program Name ; Complete and submit the MSU graduate application.
All students will use the new Student Information System (SIS) to search and register for courses. For reference, here is a link to the guide for using the new system. Make an Advising Appointment.
How to apply. International application checklist. Here are the main things you need to have prepared to complete your application: Plan for application fee. The $75 application fee is required to officially submit your application for admission. Have official transcripts sent from your school.
SIS functions support students from admissions applications and financial aid offers to accessing MSU’s schedule of courses and managing enrollment, as well as grade submission and degree conferment.
Begin to use SIS at (student.msu.edu) where you can review your course schedule, academic calendar and billing information. For help on SIS go to (https://sis.msu.edu/help/students.html). If needed, you can grant guests access to your account in SIS as well. Instructions can be found at (https://sis.msu.edu/Resources/guest-access.html).
You will submit an online graduate application and then create a student portal where you will be able to upload documents and list the names of your references. You must also arrange to official academic records from all institutions.
