14 wrz 2009 · I'm looking hard at the Stihl BR 380. I've also looked at the Echo PB-500 which is the same price as the Stihl at $ 330.00 and has similar specs. Does anybody have any experience with either of these backpack blowers? I have about 1 1/2 acres and live in an oak forest.

3 kwi 2014 · Needef a blower so just picked up a br380 in decent shape for $100. I was looking online and it seems like the 380, 400 and 420 all have the same motor, but the 400/420 put out more cfm. Is this just a different hose? What exactly are the differences?
So I'm wondering if I'll see a noticeable difference if I upgraded to a 450 or 600. The 380 still works well but I just wonder if more power is worth the $500-600 investment. Thanks for any opinions. I don’t have a ton of comparative experience, but I own a BR700, and have used my parents BR430. The difference between them is quite noticeable.
24 maj 2020 · Displacement is the engine size - the cylinder volume displaced by the piston. The BR 800 has a 79.9 cc (4.9 cubic inch) engine. Engine size helps drive the other two blower performance specs - velocity (mph) and air volume (cfm). I recently purchased a BR 800 C-E Magnum for our new place.
11 lis 2008 · I've narrowed down (I think) my next purchase to either the Stihl BR 380 D ($329+tax) or Husqvarna 150BT ($270+tax). Any opinions or experience with a backpack blower in this range? I've been very happy with the Stihl MS260 saw I picked-up used but the Husqvarna blower never gave me any troubles either.
