I'm to the game back after quite a while and don't understand how Steelskin really works. Everytime I cast it, an icon appears for over a second and then nothing happens. How do I know it's working? How long does it last? I'm on Series X. Thanks in advance.
25 wrz 2019 · Steelskin: best used leveled and cast manually imho; good against small damage spikes for eva/dodge characters, where entropy is a thing. My least favourite tho.
Lab tips for people from someone who doesn't hate lab. This isn't a in depth lab guide. Just a simple list of things that will make your life easier. Steelskin makes you immune to bleed. Swap it in for your guard skill to make traps much less scary. Replace one of your auras with vitality.
Coming back to the game, it seems like VMS has been the go-to defensive skill. However, when levelling, when is it best to swap from steelskin to molten shell? Does running determination automatically make MS surpass steelskin?
Level 20 steelskin covers 2.2k damage at 70% mitigation, meaning you're taking up to 1k damage to life in that time. So as long as you have 4.2k life or more, L20 cwdt with steelskin is perfectly fine.
2 mar 2024 · Molten Shell or Steelskin provide a bubble of damage absorption. When using Molten Shell you need to have >10k Armour . Steelskin should be put on Left Mouse Button (LMB) to auto-cast when you move.
Using it now with Steelskin, if i understand the wiki correctly, at lv 8 with CWDT you can proc a lv 14 Steelskin. Meaning when you take a hit exceeding ~ 1.1k damage (so, large but not always a 1-shot); you will proc the Steelskin with a buff cap of ~ 1k (applied to the damage at 70%).
