I was watching a f2p iron that said the skirt is better, but on the wiki it says there’s no difference. I know the chain is the best, but why do people say the skirt is better? It’s technically 1kg lighter than the platelegs. So if you’re worried about run time, skirt would be the better option.

Steel platelegs are the third weakest platelegs in the game. They have the same bonuses and penalties as a steel plateskirt but weigh more. A player with 46 Smithing can make them by using three steel bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 112.5 Smithing experience.
