8 lip 2020 · Valve should require all sites licensed to sell keys (including themselves) list region restrictions on gifting. As a note, make sure to buy a gift key, not a regular key. Gift keys are far less likely to be region locked.
11 sie 2019 · (I may have gifted Senua's Sacrifice to over 20-30 friends) However, because of the latest Steam changes, I can't gift a game to my girlfriend. It says unexpected error and when I contact Steam support, they replied me saying that I was using gifting for commercial reasons.
If you are getting this while trying to use steam wallet to gift, your steam wallet gift privileges are most likely revoked/blocked. I've once used a gift card on my second limited account to remove that restriction, thinking I would just gift games to my main account and was welcomed by the same error.
