I recently passed my S66 on 12/24 and thought I'd give this subreddit some advice that helped me like how I did for the S7 subreddit. Some general info: I used STC (I found this to be good for preparing me for the exam), and studied for 10 days. My scores consisted of high 70s to mid 80s.
Just came home from my Series 66 exam. I only used STC and nothing else. I read the book, did the exams, and used the book to brush up on any topics I felt weak in.
First attempt. ‒ Select “Show Explanations” ‒ Complete all exams with explanations shown before beginning the second attempt. Second attempt. ‒ Turn “Show Explanations” Off ‒ Scores of 80% or higher indicate adequate retention. I'm taking the 66 in April, and I'm thinking about getting Kaplan Q bank along with using STC on demand, questions, green lights, progress exams, and flashcards. If anyone who has passed the Series 66 recently could give me advice that would be great!
