Lodging Inside the park. South Rim lodging is available all year, and books up well in advance, especially during spring break, summer months, and fall weekends. Reservations are recommended. Most lodges in Grand Canyon Village are within walking distance of the canyon rim.

This beautiful and unique lodge sits right on the canyon rim with some canyon view accommodations and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The lodge comprises various cabin styles and a motel building surrounded by pines.
There are five lodges atop the South Rim in the Grand Canyon Village: Bright Angel Lodge, El Tovar Hotel, Kachina-Thunderbird Lodges, Maswik Lodge and Yavapai Lodge. Also accessible from the South Rim is the immensely popular Phantom Ranch Cabins, the only lodging in the Inner Canyon.
