1 wrz 2022 · The state has issued 96,430 permits this year for hunters to pursue antlerless deer, which includes does and deer with antlers less than 3 inches in length. If you were chosen for an antlerless permit, all you need to do is go to the DIF&W website to claim it and pay the $12 fee (plus a $2 agent fee).
About Antlerless Deer Permits. A licensed hunter with an antlerless deer permit can harvest an antlerless deer in the designated district and an antlered deer statewide. Antlerless deer permits may be won through the lottery, and any remaining permits will be available for purchase on the MDIFW website.

Using this online service you will be able to enter into the Maine Any Deer Permit Lottery. From the list of lottery applicants, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will administer a chance drawing to select winners for a Maine Any Deer Hunting Permit.
