Step 1: Determine Your Renewal Deadline. The first step of the Florida nursing license renewal process is knowing when your application is due. Nursing professionals licensed in Florida are required to complete the renewal process every other year.
The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has implemented the Online Licensing System to submit initial, renewal, or change during licensure period applications online electronically. Change of Ownership applications cannot be submitted online electronically at this time.
